New version and production
Juhani

Hey everyone!

This is the first public update here in a long time. Here are our latest model almost ready for production just a few tweaks and frame testing left.

What is new?

-Disc brake front
-Open able chain stay for belt drive.
-New frame design

Taking in more orders

Since we are getting close to production we will take in more orders soon.

Good news

The good news is that we very close to production only a few corrections and frame testing, before we can start the production. At the moment we do not have a precise deadline, but we will write it here as soon as we know.

Looks really cool! Like the disc brake one with black rims

  2. Felipe Berard says:

I like it very much. The disc brake on the front wheel and the black rim make the bike really cool.
Does the bike has a chance to include a speed system ?
Even a small number of speeds will help bikers in cities no flats streets
    Thanks

Looks sweet and the functionality is amazing! Could make for a fun conversation starter 😀

  4. Sven says:

    Hi
very nice an amazing bike. I like the version with Caliber brakes and silver rims most. It looks so pure. Hope to get the chance to ride my own one soon.

    Hey thanks for the input!

The Interlook seat post is an added equipment. The frame will last a long time with our new improvements.
We have a protective spur for the saddle.

    Hello Fubie friends!

As mention you said that a new bike is coming up soon, so do you already know the pricing? I love your bike! Looks good and all… Hope you keep your price the same my friends! All the best.

  7. Tapio says:

I have been subscribed since January, but there are not many updates. Is the bike really for sale and will you make a frame with 135mm back wheel spacing?

  8. Boris says:

One of the most interesting bikes I’ve seen for years!

I’d prefer caliper Brakes for a more classic and clean look. And less sharp edges to hurt clumsy people like me when folding/unfolding/putting in my car’s boot… 😉 Especially when having the disc on the outer side of the folded bike.

My favourite is the white/silver one – maybe with a black chain. Or with caliper brakes in an all black&white outfit?!

But honestly – I liked the old fork more. It suited the frame even better. But that’s complaining about nothing…

    I like it – I want one! 🙂

Where can we find the information about the weight of the frame (and possibly the other parts)?

  10. MARJAN says:

    Hi,
silver caliper breaks and silver rims looks nicer, cleaner.
But the black design is also very good. With discs, the black can be a better choice.

For those who are looking for more speeds, I found a post
    https://www.veloduo.co.uk/blogs/news/sunxcd-120mm-rear-cassette-hub-conversion
    https://www.veloduo.co.uk/blogs/news/installing-a-7-10-speed-cassette-on-the-sunxcd-120mm-oln-cassette
The hub is 120mm, the same as hubs for fixies. But I’m not sure, if can be mounted on fubifixie and is quite expensive.

    • Christophe says:

The problem is that there is no rear derailleur hanger, so you’re force to take an internal-gear hub, and the only one I found that could fit the 120 mm of over locknut dimension is the 8-Speed Sturmey Archer X-RF8 (http://www.sturmey-archer.com/files/catalog/files/35/SPECIFICATIONS{3fa978bd610bd2dcc7155c28ea536e8da8d05a283a2d741044111a3bc45f05f2}20-{3fa978bd610bd2dcc7155c28ea536e8da8d05a283a2d741044111a3bc45f05f2}20IGH{3fa978bd610bd2dcc7155c28ea536e8da8d05a283a2d741044111a3bc45f05f2}20S80{3fa978bd610bd2dcc7155c28ea536e8da8d05a283a2d741044111a3bc45f05f2}20(W).pdf).

  11. Igor says:

Did the original design include the brooks or brooks like seat? I am thinking about getting the 3 speed and would like the brown seat. Is this possible? Thanks.

  12. Frank says:

I have orderd and looking forward to
    Ger my fubi ????…

Can you Tell When you Will start ship out the bikes ???

    …..Frank

  13. Marco Montanari says:

    Hi Zak!
i read on indiegogo the possibility to have a version featuring the zehus bike + electric hub.
How much would it be? how can I order a fubi with this option included? I am definitely interested.

    thanks

    • Juhani says:

Yes that is the plan, we focus on the bike at the moment but all of our customers will be able to buy later.

  14. Vasudevan Srinivasan says:

    Hi,
I am looking to buy just he frame. Do you just sell the frame ? and if so, how do I order ?

    Kind regards,

    Vasu

    • Juhani says:

      Hey,

We will open up one last time on indiegogo for people to get frames. We won’t sell them later for a considerable time.

Subscribe to our newsletter to get info on when more frames will be available.

  15. George says:

    Hello,
Will there be a version with gears?
I live in a hilly area so I need gears.
But I like your folding full bike concept.
    Greetings,
    George

  16. Joe Crennan says:

Disc brake front only is what I have always wanted as rear lightens to no grip, even when putting my weight back.
